‘The Voice’ Season 21 Episode 18 Recap: Top 13 Results Feature Performances From Team Kelly and Team Legend

After a night of emotional Dedication Week performances, it’s time for the Top 13 Eliminations. The Voice Season 21 Episode 18 featured not only the results from Monday night’s episode but also exciting performances from coaches Kelly Clarkson and John Legend and their teams. Kelly, John, Ariana Grande, and Blake Shelton watched as host Carson Daly revealed the artists with the most audience votes. Then, three artists performed for the chance at a Wildcard Instant Save. Here are the evening’s results.

America saved Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom, Team Legend’s Jershika Maple, and Team Ariana’s Holly Forbes.

Team Legend and coach John took to the stage to perform a jazzy rendition of “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing.” Jershika, Joshua Vacanti, and Shadale showed off their stunning high notes and vocal longevity as the other coaches jumped to their feet.

The next round of audience saves went to Team Blake’s Wendy Moten and Team Kelly’s Hailey Mia.

Team Legend’s Joshua Vacanti, Team Ariana’s Jim and Sasha Allen, and Team Blake’s Paris Winningham will move forward to the Top 11.

Before the final results, Kelly brought her team to the stage for a performance of coach John’s tune, “U Move, I Move.” Gymani, Girl Named Tom, Hailey Mia, and Jeremy Rosado delivered perfect harmony on the slow and sweet ballad.

America saved Team Kelly’s Jeremy Rosado and Team Blake’s Lana Scott. All three artists on Team Blake will move forward.

The Voice Season 21 Episode 18 continued with performances from the remaining three artists. First, Shadale took to the stage with a rendition of Faith Hill’s “Breathe.” John complimented the singer’s ability to tackle every genre, from R&B to country. Additionally, he called Shadale an “amazing performer” with a ton of heart and soul.

Next, Gymani performed Anita Baker’s “Sweet Love,” immediately bringing Kelly to her feet to dance. Kelly said she could tell Gymani was “feeling herself” during the performance.

Finally, Team Ariana’s Ryleigh Plank sang one of her coach’s songs: “Dangerous Woman.” Ariana appreciated the bold song choice and Ryleigh’s passion during the performance. “I need you to vote for this extraordinary human being,” the coach said. “She works so hard and deserves to be here.”

And the Wildcard Instant Save winner is … Gymani! When The Voice returns on Monday, Nov. 22, the Top 11 artists will perform.
